The UK–Gabon Business & Investment Programme is evolving.

 Following our engagement with senior stakeholders across both the UK and Gabon, and growing interest from Gabon’s private sector and diaspora, we’re excited to introduce a new two-stage programme leading to the March 2027 UK–Gabon Trade & Investment Summit in London.

Stage 1 — Pre-Summit | 6 October 2026, London

This will be a working day, not a conference.

We will bring together , Senior government representatives, investors, businesses, experts and diaspora representatives around six priority sectors: Mining; Energy, Water & Climate; Agriculture & Food Security; Infrastructure; Digital & Technology; and Hospitality, Tourism & Culture.

Each table will focus on concrete projects and move towards an Action Plan with clear next steps and responsibilities.

The aim is to move beyond simply discussing opportunities and start working through what is needed to take them forward.

Stage 2 — UK–Gabon Trade & Investment Summit | March 2027, London

The main Summit in March will build on the work that begins in October.

The sector tables will come back together to share progress, continue investment discussions and develop partnerships, with an even larger Gabonese delegation joining UK investors, DFIs, businesses and delivery partners.

For me, this is about creating a proper pathway between Gabon’s priorities and the partners who can help turn them into opportunities.

October is where we start the work.

March is where we bring the wider investment community together to build on it.

This is the road to March 2027 — and it starts on 6 October.
